The Bridgewater Village School
is committed to establishing a partnership between school, parents, and community. Through this relationship, the school, parents, and community will furnish a safe, caring, and respectful learning environment. We will establish a challenging curriculum to provide an educational foundation for all students to become responsible, contributing members of society. We will ensure that each child is encouraged to learn and apply the values and behaviors necessary for lifelong learning and meaningful participation in a global society. We recognize the importance of increasing technology in the educational environment and support its appropriate use in the delivery of instruction. Our purpose is to encourage the growth of students who are creative problem solvers, free thinkers, and respectful of themselves, their peers, their community, the environment and the world. We will use instructional strategies that diversify education through the enhancement of students' creative problem solving and higher-order thinking skills. We will create an inseparable link between assessment and instruction and we will teach for deep understanding in and through the arts. We will create an intentional inclusive community and focus on each student's individual learning strengths.
