Teaching research skills to students has become more effective and efficient this year.  We have moved the reference materials to the school and they are on shelves in our new technology/combined subjects classroom.  With the use of a smartboard and laptops right at hand, students can now enter a 21st Century research lab.  Information literacy skills will be a major part of the curriculum.  I am very excited to be able to teach not only how to find information, but how to evaluate it.  The www can become the wild, wild, West without good instruction. 
We will also be able to take advantage of the many educational websites that enhance learning throughout the curriculum in this classroom.
